Shalom Everyone!

I'm Joel and you have the chance to spend time with me next year on Young Judaea Year Course in Israel.

Before you run to the computer and register though, I wanted to take a minute to tell you about my visit to Israel last month.

I had the chance a few weeks ago with Young Judaea to visit those on this year's Year Course and meet with the new program Director, Adam Jenshil. I only spent 6 days with Year Course but it was one of the most amazing weeks of my life. I traveled to all the places we could be living in next year and please believe me that they are mind-blowing.

I spent most of my time at our apartments in Jerusalem spending my days sitting in on classes taught by some of Israel's brightest (and most amusing) young mind's, and talking to our staff about all of the drastic improvements that are being made to the Year Course program, just in time for us to land in Tel Aviv in September.

Nights for Year Coursers are filled with exploring the streets of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. My last day was spent in Arad, which was one of the most beautiful and friendly cities I've ever been to. One of the apartments which we could be living in next year has a view that reaches all the way to the Dead Sea.

I just didn't want all of you to have to wait until our Year Course starts to hear and see what a mind-blowing year we're going to have together. If you think I'm exaggerating shoot me an email (jsrebrenick@gmail.com) and see that I'm not. I really am this excited.

Only 131 days left until the plane takes off.  I really hope you'll be on it with me!
